Local Option Election
Euless voters will have the chance to decide whether all types of alcoholic beverages for off premise consumption should be sold in the City. In June, the Euless City Council was presented with a petition with the required number of verified signatures to call an election.
In accordance with State law, the City Council adopted a resolution in August to place the measure on the ballot. A Local Option Election has been called for November 7, 2017.
The local option election ballot will have one proposition which will ask voters to vote "FOR" or "AGAINST" the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption only. Currently, city ordinance allows only for the sale of beer and wine for off premise consumption.
Early voting will take place Oct. 23 - Nov. 3 at the Euless Library as well as other Tarrant County early voting locations. Voting on Election Day, Nov. 7 will be from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. at designated polling locations determined by voter precinct.
